Continuing its steady growth across Europe, OMSAN Logistics has begun transporting specialty alumina from the Netherlands and Germany to 12 European countries as part of its new collaboration with Almatis. Approximately 600 shipments will be carried out annually under the operation.

OMSAN Logistics continues to expand its international logistics network by strengthening its operations across Europe through new customers and strategic partnerships.

As part of its collaboration with Almatis, one of the world’s leading producers of specialty alumina, OMSAN has undertaken a new distribution operation in Europe. OMSAN will transport specialty alumina from Almatis’ production facilities in Rotterdam, the Netherlands, and Ludwigshafen, Germany, to delivery points across 12 European countries.

Under the project, which OMSAN was awarded following a tender process, approximately 600 shipments will be carried out annually. Each shipment will involve an average of 25 tonnes of specialty alumina, delivered safely, on time, and in accordance with high service standards, backed by OMSAN’s extensive international operational expertise.
