With integrated transportation capabilities spanning road, rail, sea and air, OMSAN Logistics continues to contribute to the future of Türkiye’s logistics sector. At TEKNOFEST Southeast, the company is bringing the world of logistics closer to children and young people, while highlighting how technology, sustainability and environmental awareness are shaping the industry of tomorrow.

OMSAN Logistics is meeting with the next generation at TEKNOFEST Southeast, taking place at Şanlıurfa GAP Airport from September 30 to October 4, 2026.

Held under the vision of Türkiye’s National Technology Initiative, the festival offers OMSAN an opportunity to introduce children to the scale and complexity of modern logistics in an engaging and accessible way.

Inspired by OMSAN’s road, rail, sea and air transportation operations, a specially designed coloring book follows the journey of a product from its point of origin to a destination thousands of kilometers away. Through this experience, children are introduced to the many different stages that make global logistics possible.

As they color OMSAN’s trucks, trains and vessels, children also discover that logistics goes far beyond transportation. It is a complex ecosystem that brings together technology, engineering, planning, operational expertise and people.

“The Technologies of Tomorrow Need Strong Logistics”

Ahmet Tansık, General Manager of OMSAN Logistics, emphasized the importance of TEKNOFEST Southeast as a platform that connects the vision of the National Technology Initiative with children and young people:

“The National Technology Initiative is not only about developing the technologies of today; it is also about inspiring the generations that will shape tomorrow. As technology advances, production, trade and logistics are transforming alongside it. A Türkiye that develops the technologies of the future also needs a strong logistics infrastructure capable of connecting its production with the world. At OMSAN, we believe it is essential for children and young people to discover logistics, become curious about the sector and, in the years ahead, take part in developing the technologies that will shape its future.”

OMSAN’s Colors Take Root in Şanlıurfa

OMSAN is also extending its message beyond technology and logistics by integrating sustainability into the experience.

Specially prepared fabric bags for children include the coloring book and colored pencils, together with seed balls inspired by OMSAN’s corporate colors.

Basil, associated with light blue, represents “life and vitality”; thyme, matched with navy blue, symbolizes “strength and resilience”; sage, reflecting grey-green, stands for “nature and sustainability”; and cockscomb, represented by red, conveys “energy and dynamism.”

Tansık described the idea behind the initiative as follows:

“As we introduce children to the worlds of logistics and technology, we also want environmental responsibility to remain an integral part of the story. With our coloring book, we invite them to imagine and shape the logistics of the future in their own colors. With the seeds, we encourage them to leave a small but meaningful mark on that future with their own hands. Because both the technologies that will build tomorrow and the environmental awareness that will make that tomorrow sustainable will grow with the next generation.”

Through its TEKNOFEST Southeast initiative, OMSAN brings logistics, technology and sustainability together in a single experience designed for children and young people.

As participants discover the journey behind modern logistics, they are also encouraged to imagine the future through their own colors and to nurture it through the seeds they plant.
